I've forgotten my password - what do I do?

Summary: This help file shows you the procedure to follow if you need to recover your Freeserve password.

At the moment the only way you can recover your password is to dial Customer Services on 0870 872 0099. (Lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Saturday. Calls are charged at the national rate and may be monitored for training purposes.)

Quick tip: remember that passwords are case sensitive. So LETMEIN and letmein are considered as two distinct passwords. Check that the Caps Lock key on your keyboard hasn't been inadvertently pressed - it happens to us all the time!

Once you are certain that the password is gone, call the number above. It will help speed things up if you have the following information handy:

• your name - and the name of the account holder (if different)
• your username. So if your email address is dave@gorgeous.freeserve.co.uk your username would be gorgeous.freeserve.co.uk
• the address and date of birth of the account holder that were entered when the account was registered
• the phone number from which you last accessed Freeserve
