Freeserve Apple Mac Announcements |
Download the latest version of Internet Explorer and Outlook Express for Macintosh. |
Freeserve has been notified that there are issues with Microsoft's Internet Explorer for Macintosh. These issues affect all users of Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 and 4.5 for Macintosh and are caused by certificates which are embedded in both versions of Internet Explorer. These certificates will expire on 31/12/1999. This expiration will affect connections to servers using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
Microsoft have provided an upgrade to Internet Explorer 4.5 users. This can be downloaded from Freeserve here. If you do not have Internet Explorer 4.5 or Outlook Express 5, you can download the latest version here.
