Debenhams Christmas Sale TV Advert (1997)
The advert begins with a animation of the Debenhams “D” logo appearing. A flock of birds form the word S A L E in the sky. These birds then fly out of shot to the left. We then cut to a boy with red gloves making a snowball which he throws and hits a tree. The Debenhams “D” logo then appears on the tree. We then cut to a beige background where the Debenhams “D” logo floats in from the top.

My Comments
Unfortunately this advert ruined my enjoyment for the Sail On song as I always think The Commodores are singing about a bloody Christmas department store sale.
