Flash Liquid Cleaner TV Advert (1991)
In this advert we see a teenage girl and teenage boy cooking food on an electric cooker hob, where each meal they spill some food onto the oven top, each exclaiming “Oh No!”. The mother then arrives and also exclaims “Oh No!”, to which the teenage girl then re-appears offering to help. The teenage daughter attempts to clean the mess with ‘bleach’ to which the mother explains that she will need to use the Flash liquid cleaner to clean the mess. The music then begins to play while they both clean the hob with their respective product, however the mother ends up cleaning the entire hob with the Flash liquid cleaner. The advert ends with a picture of the product with the slogan “Cleans greasy grime in half the time”.
