Vauxhall Cavalier “Stuck in Traffic” TV Advert (1988)

The advert shows a man picking up his new Vauxhall Cavalier LX from the dealership. The advert then cuts to shots of the car driving along various roads to which it comes to a stop. The man picks up the car phone to call his wife where she asks if he got the car. He confirms and lists the standard equipment that comes on the LX trim level. He then explains that he won’t be home soon as he is stuck in traffic, however the camera zooms out to reveal there is no traffic but the man simply wants to continue driving his car around. The advert then cuts to a voiceover providing the price and reading the slogan.

The car in the advert carries the number plate E83WPP which was last taxed 1st June 2003.
