If you’ve been on this website for any amount of time you’ve probably realised that I have a soft spot for promotional materials; definitely those from decades past.
In this modern age promotional items are a rare thing – the days of saving of coupons to mail off for a plush toy or finding a little plastic gadget at the bottom of your cereal box are long gone. Companies would rather spend their advertising budget on things like social influences or trying to make memes.
There are plenty of websites out there that celebrate these promotional items. Some focus on a particular product type, brand or era. On this page we will celebrate them all. There are links to articles I have made on the items that I have at some point owned, I feel to be a bit of a fraud if I was to post about items I’m likely never to own.
