Paint Colour Names and Codes

These are the colour names and their paint codes from the brochure.

Standard Paint

Metallic Paint

Notes regarding Paint

  • It is not made clear in the brochure if metallic paint costs extra, however it is is likely that this would be the case
  • The sample for “Starburst Silver KL0” is the least accurate as it is printed over the seam of the page.
  • Although many of the colours contain a simple colour name (e.g. Black, Blue, Green) some of the more unusual colours do not
    • “Peridot” is more of a dark green than a black as seen in the brochure.
    • “Cinnabar” is a dark red, close to a burgundy colour
    • “Caramel” is a strong orange colour
    • “Salmon” is a bright red

JapShow – 10th June 2018

We had a wonderful summer season in the UK in 2018 with some of the hottest days in years. This meant that I was more than eager to take my then reasonably new Toyota Celica GT-Four to a selection of meets around the country. JapShow at the Santa Pod drag strip was a show that I had missed years previous so I made an effort to visit.

After getting lost trying to find the club stand and nearly ending up on the drag strip itself; we settled down and began to peruse the selection of vehicles on display. Along with this the event had a RWYB style event for mostly Japanese only vehicles which provided some good entertainment for the day.

I probably would visit JapShow again in the future, the selection of cars on show was a nice mix and included some models that I hadn’t seen before at these kind of shows; such as the Honda S660.

Nissan Primera P10 (1990-1996)

This is a post where I will share various bits of information regarding the first generation of the Vauxhall Primera – including adverts, articles, forum posts, pictures, media appearances and more.

6two1 Open Day – 14th April 2017

On 14th April 2017 6two1 in Colchester had an open day inviting various fans of the brand/YouTube Channel to come down and show off their cars. Sadly at this point I had nothing interesting to demonstrate, but took a few photographs.

Japfest Silverstone – 29th April 2017

This was my first time of being at Silverstone. It was a fantastic day – car mecca I called it.

As you can see from the pictures below, I was mainly interested in the cars from the 80s and 90s; irregardless of power, condition or style. Japfest is one of my favourite events on the calendar.

Players 10 North Weald – 17th September 2017

Players 10 usually marks the end of the car show year. It holds a special place in my heart as it was the first show I had ever been too.

Unfortunately due to the date it is held the skies are usually overcast and makes taking pictures a little difficult.

This day was pretty good, however I didn’t take lots of pictures. I was more interested in the stock/factory cars over the modified examples.

Classic Nostalgia 2017 Shelsley Walsh – 22nd July 2017

This was one of my favourite shows of the year, if not one of my favourite of all time. I grew up playing rally video games as a kid and thought rally cars were the coolest thing (and still do). This day out was a fantastic time to watch some of these legendary cars going up and down the hill climb, all while being able to get up close and personal with the cars in the paddocks. Aside from the rally legends, there were a few other interesting cars present on the day.

Roadkill @ EBC Brakes – 19th November 2017

November isn’t normally the season for a car show – the days are short, cold and often raining. However David Freiburger from the show RoadKill was making a UK visit and would be stopping off at EBC Brakes. EBC Brakes took this opportunity for a meet and greet, and a small static meet. No entry price, just turn up and enjoy – which is exactly what we did. A small meet in the grand scheme of things, but enjoyable enough. I didn’t meet David, I get a bit nervous about that sort of thing; but he seemed to enjoy what the UK can provide.
